How long does treatment take?

It depends on your teeth. Smaller corrections can take a few months; fuller treatment usually takes longer. We give you an estimate at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel some pressure for a day or two when they start a new set of aligners. This usually settles quickly.

How many hours a day do I wear the aligners?

Usually 20 to 22 hours a day. You take them out to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth.

Will I need retainers afterwards?

Yes. Retainers help keep your teeth in their new position, and we talk about the options at the end of treatment.
