Using iTero digital scanning! No uncomfortable impressions!

For children and adults, protecting your teeth and gums when participating in impact sports and other activities, should be non-negotiable. Mouthguards save teeth - they are the easiest form of smile insurance.

How we make them

Gone are the days of badly fitting mouthguards that are uncomfortable to wear. We custom make them from medical grade high impact EVA material with shore hardness of 75, to Australian Guidelines. The mouthguards we produce comply with and satisfy protection guidelines and, importantly, have maximum wearability which lowers resistance to using it correctly.

Who we make them for

Barwon Heads Dental have been using our advanced techniques and technologies to make and provide mouthguards for sporting communities, clubs and individuals since the very beginning of our practice. We are proud to support local juniors and we always look forward to our regular 'fitting days' at clubs across the coast.

Why wear a mouthguard?

Mouthguards are protective gear for anyone engaging in physical activities. They help reduce the risk of injuries to the teeth, lips, cheeks, and tongue, as well as the risk of concussions. Mouthguards also work like a cushion to absorb shock and lessen the chance of a jaw fracture - it can be the difference between a minor injury and a serious one, and for children, help ensure the early development of their teeth and jaw structure is not compromised.
